CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS:
Didn’t love your new purchase? No problems! All change of mind returns must be completed within 30 days of purchase in store or the date you receive your online order.
Please note that Sportsgirl in-store gift cards are not refundable under any circumstances.
FULL PRICE:
In-store purchase - Items can be refunded with proof of purchase or exchanged for other items without a receipt in stores only
Online purchase - Refundable both in stores and if sent back to our online store.
SALE/OUTLET ITEMS:
In-store purchase – Non-refundable, items can only be exchanged for other goods in stores.
Online purchase – Refundable both in stores and if sent back to our online store.
CONDITIONS:
Items returned must be in their original sale condition (unworn, unwashed, unused with all original tags, labels attached and shoes in original boxes).
Beauty items, Sportsgirl in-store gift cards underwear, swimwear, earrings, hosiery, face masks and gift cards cannot be returned for change of mind reasons.
Shipping costs from online purchases and returns postage are non-refundable.
You may be asked to provide personal details for returns or exchanges for verification purposes.
Please note: Sleepwear can only be returned back to our online store
FAULTY RETURNS:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, but in the event that you receive a faulty item in your online order, please take it to your nearest store within a reasonable time along with your order confirmation.
If you are not located near a Sportsgirl, please contact us with your order number, details of the fault and any relevant photos.
For faulty items from an in-store purchase, please visit your nearest Sportsgirl for your returns with your proof of purchase.
YOUR RIGHT TO A REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE
You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from Sportsgirl if the item is:
(a) faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or
(b) Not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or
(c) Not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would, and you return the item within a reasonable time after purchase and provide Sportsgirl with proof of purchase, such as your original Sportsgirl receipt or bank statement.
If you do not return the item within a reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund of the purchase price but you will be entitled to exchange the goods or have them repaired.
If you are entitled to a refund but would prefer to exchange the item or receive a Sportsgirl gift card of equivalent value to the item, Sportsgirl is happy to exchange or give you the gift card instead of a refund.
SPORTSGIRL 'CHANGE OF MIND POLICY'
Sportsgirl is not legally obliged to give refunds of the purchase price or gift cards on items or exchange them, simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.
However, under our own Sportsgirl 'Change of Mind Policy', if you simply change your mind we do offer a refund, exchange or gift card of value equivalent to the purchase price for most items provided that:
(a) you return the item within 30 days from the date of purchase (or for online purchases, from the date you receive it); and
(b) the item is unworn and in its original condition; and
(c) all original labels and tickets are attached to the item; and
(d) you provide an original Sportsgirl tax invoice as proof of purchase; and
(e) sale merchandise purchased in stores will only be exchanged, not refunded.
The Sportsgirl 'Change of Mind Policy' does NOT apply under any circumstances to purchases of the following items:
(a) earrings
(b) cosmetics/Sportsgirl Beauty items
(c) lingerie
(d) hosiery/socks
(e) swimwear
(f) Sportsgirl instore gift cards
AFTERPAY - IN-STORE & ONLINE
Afterpay store purchases are able to be returned in store only in line with the above return policy.
Afterpay online orders can be returned online or in store, in line with our above return policy. You will need your virtual Afterpay card on your phone wallet to receive a refund.
Please keep in mind if you provided a different credit/debit card other than your virtual Afterpay card at the time of your return in store you will still need to pay the remaining Afterpay payments as Afterpay will not be notified of the refund.
Please note; if you wish to return your order we recommend you send your goods back using a trackable delivery service as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
With online refunds and/or in the event that an item from an Afterpay purchase cannot be fulfilled, your Afterpay balance will be reduced to reflect the new order total once the refund has been processed, which can take up to 5 business days.
Once your order has been placed it immediately begins the process through our system to make its way to you as quickly as possible.
This means we cannot make any changes to it, including and not limited to, alteration of shipping address, swapping/adding/removing of items in your order, applying discounts retrospectively and cancellations.
Should there be an error with your shipping address, please visit Australia Post for a redirection once you receive your tracking details. select Mail redirection and complete the online form.

Any online purchase with Afterpay can be refunded or exchanged in our Sportsgirl stores. Whilst we do not offer exchanges online, if you wish to exchange your Afterpay purchase, you can do so in store.
For change of mind Afterpay returns, you will need to supply your original Sportsgirl receipt or order confirmation email.

WITHIN AUSTRALIA
CHANGE OF MIND
IN STORE:
For your convenience, online purchases can be returned at our Sportsgirl stores for a refund or an exchange within 30 days of delivery
in line with our returns policy.
Online orders paid with Afterpay can also be refunded or exchanged in any of our Sportsgirl stores.
Bring along your email confirmation or the small packing slip included in your parcel as proof of purchase, and our store teams will help further.
Any refunds will be credited against your original method of payment, excluding delivery charges & any promotional codes used.
ONLINE RETURNS VIA AUSPOST PORTAL:
1. Go to AusPost Returns to purchase your returns label.
2. Fill out your return details.
3. You have the option of having your label emailed to you to print at home, or only the returns QR code to take to the post office to scan.
4. Complete the payment of your returns label.
5. Tick the relevant items on your packing slip and include it in your return parcel.
6. Take your parcel to the post office, show your returns email and lodge the item at the counter.
Australia Post will then send you notifications to your email address to update you once the returns parcel is on its way. We strongly recommend retaining these details to monitor the journey of your returns parcel.
Refunds will be credited against your original method of payment, excluding delivery charges & any promotional codes used.
Please note that we do not process refunds in advance of returns parcels arriving at our facility under any circumstances.
If you suspect that your returns parcel is severely delayed in reaching us, please contact Australia Post to lodge an enquiry.
Once you have obtained an AusPost case number, please contact our team at online@cs.sportsgirl.com.au with the information provided by Australia Post.
Once your returns parcel is received, please allow 2-5 business days for the refund to be processed. To track your returns parcel, please enter the label tracking number here

In the event that you receive a faulty item in your online order, please take it to your nearest store within reasonable time along with your order confirmation.

I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE AUSPOST RETURNS LABEL EMAIL:
Please ensure that you have checked your junk/spam folders for the email.
If you encounter an error in the portal or submitted an incorrect email address, please request a refund for your returns label by following the steps below
1. Go to https://helpandsupport.auspost.com.au/s/products-and-services
2. Select Mail Products and your enquiry type as Parcel
3. Provide the transaction details, number of attempts (if multiple) & full name in your refund request
4. Click Next, and Review & Submit
On logging the request you will receive an enquiry reference number to use in any future communications about the refund request.
You will be contacted as soon as possible after logging the request, and the refund request will usually be actioned within 48 hours.

AFTERPAY PURCHASE
In-store return - Items can be exchanged or refunded only within 30 days in line with our return policy. You will need your virtual Afterpay card on your phone wallet to receive a refund.
Please keep in mind if you provided a different credit/debit card other than your virtual Afterpay card at the time of your return in store you will still need to pay the remaining Afterpay payments as Afterpay will not be notified of the refund.
Online return - Items can be returned online for a refund only in line with our return policy. Your refund will be put back to your Afterpay account. (We are unable to refund in-store purchases online)

Online orders within Australia:
Exchanges can only be processed in our physical Sportsgirl stores, but not at our online facilities.
For any online purchases returned via post to our facilities, a refund will be processed back to your original method of payment, excluding any shipping fees or promotional discount codes used in the order.
Please visit your nearest Sportsgirl if you wish to exchange items from your online order, in line with our Returns policy.

International orders:
If you wish to exchange your purchase, you will need to return it for a refund and place a new order online.
Unfortunately, Vouchers and Promo Codes are non-refundable, so please choose your items carefully when redeeming a voucher/promo code on your order.
For online orders, the discount amount is proportionately applied across each item purchased. The final amount refunded represents the original purchase price less the apportioned discount amount.
Sportsgirl gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
